Join Acqua Al 2, a fine Italian restaurant in the Gaslamp Quarter, for their exclusive new wine tasting series, Uncorked, this Wednesday, June 3, 3009 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. This week's tasting is called "Giro d'Italia," featuring a refreshing selection of Italian summer wines paired with delectable bites. reservations are required to participate. The cost is $20 per person which includes 4 spirits paired with classic Italian dishes including:

• Marotti Campi Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi 2007, Marche. Served with focaccia al rosmarino e crostino ai fagioli cannellini - Focaccia bread ovenbaked with rosemary and crostini topped with cannellini beans and extra virgin olive oil.
• Vestini Pecorino 2008, Abruzzo. Served with farfaline al salmone - Bowtie pasta with salmon in a pink sauce.
• D'Antiche Terre Aglianico 2006, Campania. Served with Assaggio di formaggi - Aged cheese platter.
• Vita Il Trullo, Primitivo del Salento 2007, Puglia. Maccheroncini al ragu di manzo - Maccheroni pasta in a beef ragu sauce.
