Join Roosevelt Middle School and the San Diego High School Garden Club to celebrate Arbor Day today, April 23, at Balboa Park. Help plant a mixed grove of twenty Engelman Oaks, Island Oaks and Western Redbuds along Balboa Drive just north of the Laurel Street entrance and west of the Lawn Bowling Green. Balboa Park Nursery Supervisor Mike Masmusson and City Councilmember Todd Gloria of District Three are scheduled to speak. This is a free event. For more information please call (619) 232-2282.
