Little Italy hosts San Diego’s 16th Annual Sicilian Festival

On Sunday, May 17, 2009, Little Italy will be hosting San Diego’s 16th Annual Sicilian Festival from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on India Street. With free admission, Sicilian music, dance, cuisine and culture, this is one celebration you won’t want to miss! The event will have four stages of Sicilian and Italian entertainment, including Dick Contino, the world-famous accordionist virtuoso, who will be headlining the event. Also new to the festival this year, is the children's corner which will feature Sicilian heritage activities for the kids. There will also be free shuttle rides to the festival on double-decker English buses departing from the north end of the County Administration Building.
